Ingredients

  • 2 oz rye whiskey

  • 1 oz sweet vermouth

  • 2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Instructions

  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer to chill

  2. Add Angostura bitters, sweet vermouth, and bourbon to a mixing glass

  3. Fill 2/3 thirds with ice

  4. Stir for 30-45 seconds until mixing glass is chilled

  5. Single strain into chilled martini glass

  6. Garnish with a maraschino cherry
